Neither of them were prepared for what was in store. Both Paul and Helen had elderly parents and decided that the standards to set at Benoni Nursing Home would be how comfortable would they feel admitting their own parents to the home. Although the home had a reasonable reputation in the past, the previous owner [an accountant] had let standards slide through a distant ownership. They soon realised that to make Benoni Nursing Home successful it would be full hands on... Which it most certainly has been. Neither Paul nor Helen can believe where the years have gone whilst creating the perfect care home for the elderly. They are both very much involved in the day to day running of Benoni Nursing Home as they always have been from the very outset. Once Benoni Nursing Home was completed, Paul and Helen soon realised that the Care in the Community in and around the local area was very far from the standards they both expected and so both made the decision to set up Kernow Homecare, a specialist home visit nursing and care service which has been serving the community for the last 9 years helping the elderliy in need make the transition from their own home to a care home a little easier. They can boast the very highest of standards at Benoni Nursing Home and are well known throughout the area with locals and local authorities for their capabilities and professionalism when caring for highly dependent individuals, sometimes sadly neglected in the larger homes. Paul and Helen Hutson are both compassionate and very approachable people, as proved time and time again they will go that extra mile for you and your family, as they do for all current residents and all their wonderful staff.
