| Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner and Supper.
The main meal of the day will
normally consist of a main course
of meat or fish plus three vegetables followed by a
sweet course. As each resident’s Personal
Care Assistant makes a note of any dietary likes or
dislikes there is always an alternative
choice available.
Residents
are always able to ask for hot or cold drinks {tea,
coffee etc} and biscuits at any time. In addition
coffee, tea and biscuits are always available to visitors
free of charge.
We cater
also for buffet lunches, birthday and wedding anniversary
parties for residents. Charges,
when made are very modest.
Dining
Room / Lounge
The dining
room and lounge are open areas and are used by residents
to sit, read, meet relatives
and friends, watch television and to chat with other
residents or staff. Because of the way that
the rooms are divided, it is always possible for any
resident to eat alone or with fellow
guests or staff. The choice is theirs.
Garden
Benoni
has a small well-kept garden, which is the ideal place
to relax and enjoy the sea air. There are
plans to create a decking area, accessible from the
conservatory and a small vegetable
garden to provide the residents with fresh, home grown
vegetables.
Church
An interdenominational
church service is held within the home each month.
